A new hotel is opening up this weekend in Davenport.
Those working with the business are putting a new spin on its grand opening.
Chief Operating officer of JD Royal Hospitality, John Crump, came in the studio to talk about the event.
The hotel will donate $1 per person up to 1,000 people that comes into the hotel and takes a tour.
The money will go to the Red Cross local flood relief.
The hotel is also donating food and Jumping Joey’s has donated their bounce houses for the fundraiser.
Those who attend will also get the chance to win a 2-year lease on a 2019 Lexus SUV.
You can visit the hotel Friday from 3-8 p.m. Papa John’s will be supplying pizza for night tours from 9-midnight.
The fun continues on Saturday at noon until 5 p.m. Free ice cream will be provided.
