According to an alert from American Water Works Service Co. Inc., crews in Blue Grass are making emergency repairs because of a water main break at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Residents may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water, the alert says.
Repairs are expected to take six hours to complete. When service is restored, customers may experience discolored water.
If your water is discolored, run the cold taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about three to five minutes until the water runs clear, the alert says. “You will not receive any further notification unless additional action is required or conditions change,” according to the alert.
