UPDATE: The Milan Fire Department believes the Anytime Truck & Repair Shop on 14th Street is a complete loss after a fire broke out there this afternoon.
A call came into the fire department around 12:35 PM regarding a fire at that location. When an ambulance arrived on scene, they saw the building fully engulfed and called for immediate assistance.
Around 10 people were inside at the time of the fire but were able to escape on their own. 2 of those people suffered burns on their hands and are now being treated a local hospital for those injuries.
It took firefighters about 20-30 minutes to get the fire under control. They had to use tankers to bring in more water because the nearby fire hydrant did not have enough power in the waterline.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
